How To Save Over $400 on Nutrsisystem!

Are you ready to give Nutrisystem a try?  Let me walk you through the things I did that helped me save over $400 on my recent order- it should be arriving today, and I can’t wait to get started!

The Nutrisystem plan I decided on is the Uniquely Yours for Women plan.  Before using any discounts or promo codes, this plan is normally $339.99 per month.  I am planning to stay on Nutrisystem for at least three months, which would add up to over $1000!  However, by the time I hit that “Submit Order” button, I had managed to bring my cost down to less than $600.  Keep reading to find out how!

  1. I paid for 3 months up front.  Total savings: $153.00

  2. I used multiple promo codes.  Total savings: $115.00

  3. I paid for my order by purchasing gift cards from Costco. Total savings $160.00

  4. I took advantage of a New Year’s sale on Nutrisystem’s website for an additional $30.00 off.

Total Saved: $458.00!

In addition, my order qualified for free shipping via FedEx, and I was able to score a couple of freebies from other promos as well- I got a free water bottle and 5 free cookie packs, which at the normal A La Carte price would be over $15.00. I think I did a pretty good job saving money on my order, wouldn’t you agree? Keep reading for more details on savings!

Ok, so where did I get all these promo codes? I hopped onto Google and did a search for “Nutrisystem Promo Codes” and started digging. The search results bring up a lot of coupon sites, and it takes trying a few to find codes and coupons that actually work. This time around, the “jenny100,” “$10.00 Off,” “5 Free Cookie Packs” and “$5.00 Off A La Carte” codes were found on Wired.com. The “Free Water Bottle” and “Limited Time Savings” of $30.00 were from Nutrisystem’s own site.

Costco gift cards: Now, one must be a member of Costco (annual fee for their Gold Membership is $60.00), which I have been for many years as I find so many good reasons to shop there. Through Costco’s website, Nutrisystem gift cards with a value of $100 are sold for $79.99. A couple times a year, they go on sale for even less! So, for every hundred dollars I was spending on my order, I saved about $20. This time around I bougth 8 cards, which was about $160.00 in savings. I also had a balance on a gift card from awhile back, which was where that card with $44.62 comes into play.

One final tip is that if you use Rakuten, there is usually a cash back percentage offer (at the time of this writing, it is 3% back), which can save you even more money. I know it can seem confusing and overwhelming, but it’s worth it to hunt around for ways to save on Nutrisystem. Once the order arrives, the fun begins- stay tuned for more posts about my Nutrisystem journey and make it a great day!
